Practicing

Individuals who are actively practicing and meet professional criteria, abide by NSARP’s Standards of Practice and Codes of Conduct and Ethics and carry professional malpractice insurance coverage.

Non-Practicing

Individuals who are professional but non-practicing due to a sabbatical may remain in this category for up to 1 year then will be reclassified as either professional practicing or associate members.

Responsibilities

Practicing
  • Pay membership fees
  • Inform the office of changes in contact information
  • Attend membership meetings
  • Abide by NSARP’s By-laws, the Codes of Conduct and Ethics and the professional Standards of Practice
  • Are fully insured
  • Meet on-going professional criteria
Non-Practicing
  • Pay membership fees
  • Inform the office of changes in contact information
  • Attend membership meetings
  • Abide by NSARP’s By-laws and the Codes of Conduct and Ethics
  • Meet on-going professional criteria
  • May not remain in this category for longer than one (1) year
  • May re-enter the Practicing category provided they show proof of that category’s responsibilities

Rights and Privileges

Practicing
  • Shall have the right of voice and one vote at NSARP membership meetings
  • Shall be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors of NSARP and as a member or chairperson of any of its committees
  • Shall be eligible for all membership programs, benefits and services
  • Shall have the right to use the letters “RCR” (Registered Certified Reflexologist) after their name
  • Shall be provided with a Certificate of Recognition
  • Shall be eligible to be listed with the Practitioners’ Registry
Non-Practicing
  • Shall have the right of voice at the membership meetings
  • Shall be eligible to serve as a member of any committee
  • Shall be eligible for certain membership programs, benefits and services
