Volume 1 Issue 1
A Publication of the Nova Scotia Association of Reflexology Practitioners 3
Letter to The Editor
Congratulations on the first edition of Foot notes! This is a very
exciting time for Reflexology in Nova Scotia. It is necessary to
take this time to thank and commend the person who has been the driving force behind the Nova
Scotia Association of Reflexology Practitioners (NSARP), Cheryl Gaul. I know that Cheryl is very
modest about this accomplishment and I also know that she would credit the ever steady love and
support of her husband Kevin, and a handful of volunteers and practitioners standing alongside
helping her make this dream come true.
Cheryl saw the need, had a vision, culminated a formation committee, created the backbone for
the association and is still the driving force behind projects and advancements NSARP is working
on today. With the greatest respect to you, Cheryl, Thank You! What a Board! Wow, everyone
seems to be sitting in the right seats too.
Angel Nicholson is our President, and brings with her experience having sat on other Boards. She
is guiding our newly sailed ship through exciting and never before charted waters quite capably!
Cheryl is our Treasurer and Office Administrator, who never falls short of keeping the wind in our
sails and steering the ship toward the next destination.
Jenny Trussler has some worldly experience to offer the crew as a Director. Jenny has recently
immigrated from England and is not only a Reflexologist, Massage Therapist and Nutritionist but
has a flare for writing as well.
As for myself, hi I'm Melany Rand, a Reflexologist and Massage Therapist, I sit on the Board as
Vice President and try to do my best as ship-mate for the rest of the crew. This is a very exciting
time and I must say quite an honor to be here putting Reflexology on the Map for not only Nova
Scotia, but for Canada too. We are going to rock the boat, so join-up, pay attention, watch and see!
